Ages 6 and up will build on these founding concepts of Isshin-Ryu karate and continue to develop their character and physical fitness. By learning basic self-defense principles while having lots of fun, our young ones quickly develop self-esteem, perseverance, and respect for others. LITTLE DRAGONS

This class is specifically designed for 4-5 yr. olds. During these lessons, they will learn the foundations of Isshin-Ryu Karate while having lots of fun. They will follow instructions and game-like fitness drills to constructively burn energy and build physical and mental strength. Our Little Dragons are introduced to personal safety concepts on how to handle real life scenarios such as being lost, emergencies, strangers, and handling bullying.

When we moved to Hawaii, we had the opportunity to study Isshin-Ryu under Sensei Knight for two years. Three things immediately impressed us about Sensei Knight: he is extremely knowledgeable about Isshin-Ryu history, kata, kobudo, and kumite; he teaches Isshin-ryu techniques and principles, along with their practical applications, in a clear and easy to understand manner; and he was unfailingly professional, respectful, and responsible with his students. We were confident that Sensei Knight always had our best interests and safety at heart and that we were getting the highest level of instruction possible. Our training with Sensei Knight was a fantastic challenge!
